PooPrintsTo ensure a clean and disease-free park the Nashua Dog Park members participate in PooPrints™, an eco-friendly pet waste management program. The PooPrints™ program is designed to encourage dog owners to pick-up their dog's waste. At your orientation appointment, a swab of your dog's mouth is performed. The swab is sent to the PooPrints™ lab where a specific (DNA) profile is created for your dog. In the event a waste sample is submitted to the PooPrints™ lab, it will be compared against all of the dogs in the Nashua Dog Park database.
PooPrints Fine StructureThe Nashua Dog Park Board of Directors does not desire to impose fines on dog park members. Our goal is to have a clean and disease free dog park for all to enjoy. With that said, any member who fails to pick up and remove their dog(s) waste is subject, upon a PooPrints DNA match, to a $107.00 fine* for each offense. Memberships with more than three (3) offenses shall be subject to review.
*Please note: The fee is non-profit and reflects the actual cost of PooPrints processing. This fee is subject to change without notice. |
